Roxette: The best of Pop.

Some bands are goods, others may be excellent…but  Roxette, a pop group  haven`t  comparission. I like this group  and his two members: Marie Fredriksson y Per Gessle. His creations has a component that others haven`t: combination of ritm and melodies.  This group arrived at world music  to ends of the 80 decade. His music is simply amazing, because  have different sounds and ritms, but only they can touch of wonderful way. With his music they were the referent of  world pop between 1987 and 1995. They were in Santiago City, Chile, specifically at the Stadium “San Carlos de Apoquindo”, in his first presentation the night of the 25th april of 1992.

In that time I had the opportunity to see and enjoy his music  join with 15.000 fanatics, whan I was in the University of Chile, specifically at the Scool of Law. In that ocassion They  showed different themes highlighting between others: Joyride, The Look, Big Love, and obviously  “Spendign my time”, this song is my favourite, because everytime that I listen this theme I remember my first love in the High School.

Well, in that concert all enjoyed to Roxette, I had good luck, due to I won a ticket for to be on the court. The view was amazing, Today I continue to remember that night.

After all, who hasn`t  had any unforgettable memory?

Unforgettable

       I remember the 29th day 2011 around the midnight when I saw the definitve list with all the names of students that got the scholarship for to study a Master in Bussiness and Administration into Chile University, specifically in the Graduate School.
      Obviously I had included in that list, also my happiness was absolute because only I was the one selectioned in all the noth zone of Chile. Besides this scholarship between the contents is possible observe a trip abroad, basically to England, USA or Australia, also this Master has the option for get the double degree, as in Chile as abroad.
      On the other hand, this experience is some exclusive in Latin America, there is not for get that more of 4000 people saw this option and finally only 50 students were selectioned, included me.

I and my vision

My name is Juan Manzano, I was born in Arica, Chile, on October 12th,1974. My studies, starting with elementary education, were in Rancagua School, then I continued high school in Liceo Octavio Palma and finally, I entered University of Tarapacá and I studied Law, getting the title of lawyer.

   My family is small, my parents and my sister, all are mathematic teachers. They live in Arica. In this time, I am single.
   My hobbies are different sports as: walking, football, dancing, swimming, and listening to classic music, for example: Schubert, Verdi and Strauss.

   Also, I like to know different cities of my country, every summer; I have visited several places and other cities of Chile as Iquique, Antofagasta, La Serena, etc. every one has beautiful places.

   In this time, I am studying Master in University of Chile, specifically English language, for preparation of the Ielts test and then I hope go to England in December of this year.
